The Retevis RT22 Two Way Radio Twin Pack has been an absolute hit in our neighborhood! I originally got these to keep track of my kids when they play outside, and they have far exceeded expectations in terms of range and performance.These are incredibly easy to use—truly push-to-talk simplicity, which is perfect for children. The rechargeable batteries are a huge plus; they hold a charge for a long time, meaning less hassle with disposable AAs. They are also lightweight and durable enough to survive being dropped on pavement, which is a common occurrence around here.Now for the fun part: the long range is excellent. My kids can easily talk to their friends three houses down, across the street, or even when playing in the local cul-de-sac. This has facilitated an epic level of inter-neighborhood coordination, which is exactly what I wanted! Good for limited uses. Good Battery Life. Don’t Expect Range Past 2 Miles.
Purchased these to use at the Renfaire with my friends so we could keep track of each other at the event because cell phone frequencies are overwhelmed. We also used these while traveling to the event. They work well, but are short-range. At most, we were able to get about two-miles out of them and only with prime conditions. I am happy with the purchase, as they worked as intended for our purpose and will come in handy for other outings. Battery life was good, the radios lasted all day. These radios use public frequencies and will have crossover. We had to switch channels due crossing signals with the event’s radios.

Excellent quality radios! I love the antenna being built into the frame. Very compact. Expect clear communication for about 6 to 8 blocks in a city environment.Excellent for car to car road trip communications where your cell phone is never guaranteed to work. Around a mile of separation and you can still hear well ! I love them, buy lots! Where you will get your very long range is mountain top to mountain top… unobstructed line of sight.

Works well for the price point. The clarity could be a bit better but all in all they work good. Range of reception was suprising! The battery life, the quality and build is pretty good for around your property or out hunting or something like that. If you need professional then ya may want to keep looking. We used these for a wedding on 5 acres and had no problems at all!

Worth It!
These work great, I purchased for hiking, sports events etc. I wanted something without the noaa and channel scanners. Just turn on, channel up or down and push and not have a bunch of other buttons for my family to say what does this do. Tested up to a mile and it was clear. With any radio line of sight is key. Even my Cobra walkies cut out 1.5 miles outside my neighborhood because of the elevation etc. I’d say it a good buy and worth it!

Good quality
For the price good quality. The batteries go back after a year or so but again at this price point pretty decent quality. I have had roughly 30 of these walkies we have cycles thru work the last few years and they are much more reliable and have longer range than what the old ones did. Also these new ones have a type c charger which works much better.

I do estate auctions and these come in handy when we have helpers upstairs, outside and in the basement. They work great!!!!! One of my fav buys this year and the price was cheap!! I went for the orange color because we tend to lose stuff. BUY THEM!! Sometimes you pick up other people talking but it’s easy to change the channel.
