This thing is faster than the original storage on the PS5 and more than twice the size, it was a super easy install although I did add my own heat sync but it definitely works as advertised, this is an easy recommendation from me!

I purchased my son a PS5 and the internal hard drive filled up fast. I did some research and found that you can add additional hard drive. After searching online I kept going back to this brand after reading tons of reviews. See belowPros1. It’s fast no issues loading or transferring games2. The quality is excellent3. The price is the best you can find for the amount of storage you get4. I wouldn’t go any bigger than 2tb unless you have dozens of games5. No issues or failuresCons1. I didn’t realize even if you expand the space on the PS5 you still have to transfer the games from the internal to external hard drive when you want to play them. This isn’t the hard drive company’s fault it’s an issue on the gaming systems end. I just wanted to make sure everyone is aware but it didn’t stop by from buying this card. By the way the games transfer in less than a minute so it’s not a huge deal.This is the best external hard drive you’re going to find online.

It works fine. I’m reviewing this because the price is decent for 4tb and performance is good. It does have less endurance than Samsung 4tb, and it’s pretty close when you factor in the premium there if you need that. but if you don’t need that TBW this is an alternative. it’s still a decent TBW, and that’s usually one of the top things I look for; that said 5 years or X-tbw you will be hitting those years first in consumer applications. Samsung does used slighly better nand, but this isn’t a bit deal really. It’s a good valuethere are the cons, or things i didn’t love- it runs hot for an nvme, my board is huge heat sinks that can deal with it, but it is much warmer than some other similar drives i’ve purchsed.- the heat sink on the bottom is make it hard to install in my board (because my board has a big heat sink, and it’s not fun removing the one that comes iwth it because of the adhesive and you worry about damaging things.It’s a good drive other wise with good performance. Honestly if it fails in the next 10 years I really will come back and adjust the review so that’s clear. my expectation is all storage drives last 10 years personally. I dont care what the warranty says. I’m a software developer and will put miles on this.

I am a girl who discovered this product and enjoys it to the fullest external hard drives weren’t doing exactly what I needed the computer to do and this right here just made gaming for me overall amazing. Great storage capacity the size of the product fit perfectly with my device. It was extremely compatible with my computer as they’re both the same brand. I loved how easy to use and install, very light weight. Overall improve my drive speed.

I couldn’t be happier with this Acer Predator 4TB SSD. I’ve had zero issues with it since installing it, and the performance is exactly what you’d expect from a top-tier solid-state drive. It handles everything I throw at it with incredible speed, from large file transfers to demanding games and applications.One of the best features is the included heatsink. It’s a huge plus and does a great job of keeping the drive cool under heavy load. However, a quick tip for anyone installing this: check your motherboard first! Some high-end motherboards already have an M.2 heatsink. I had a moment where I almost double-stacked them. Make sure you only use one to avoid any potential issues with thermal transfer and fit.Overall, this SSD is a fantastic buy. It’s fast, reliable, and the included heatsink is a massive bonus. Highly recommend it
