WAY better than running wires/relays! Actually works
Every part is aluminum with steel brackets. Actually pretty impressive! Very easy to do a good job installing and mounting all the parts with the numerous included mounting options. Note: I ordered mine from amazon warehouse for a discount. Was probably returned for the following flaw-At first it was flashing each output one time when the car was turned on/acc powered. But I emailed the nilight customer support from their website and, after sending them a video of the flashing, they sent me a new one which works perfectly.I used one of the 5 amp outs to run a relay for a 200w light set. The other outputs work great for several roof mounted LED floods.The one weird quirk that remains- is the backlights only come on when you activate a light. You CAN also power the 1st pin on the 3 pin plug where ACC goes to toggle through two levels of backlight and off. But it doesnt come with the wiring or instructions for that. The second pin doesnt activate the backlight unfortunately. If you want the switches to light when the vehicle lights come on, you can wire the 1st pin to something which is powered when the headlights are on. Each time that wire is powered it will toggle the light level but you wouldn’t even notice most of the time and its better than nothing.

Worked, then it didnt
Bought this product back in March installed in March and by July unit stopped working. I only had 4 items hooked up, 1x300watt led light bar, 2x60watt pod lights, 2x60watt flush mount pods, 2x running board lights @ 10watts total. Unit says can handle up to 720watts. So let’s do the math, 300+60+60+60+60+10=550 watts, still have room for more. 60 amps is what this unit says it can handle, well under that even with everything on at once. Installed and it worked great, loved the new set up. But then with in months the control pad started flickering and would shut off within seconds of being turned on. Then it wouldn’t turn on at all. Called customer service for NILIGHT, that was a joke. No answer, just a recording and then would hang up. Reached out via email and text, sent the required information they asked for and I just got the run around like many others have had. So now it’s a useless pile of junk that NILIGHT should replace since I’m still with-in my 2 year warranty window.LETS GO NILIGHT, GET YOUR STUFF TOGETHER.

Side mirror lights are on with no power to the switch.
I bought this switch after returning an Auxbeam switch that didn’t work at all. I installed everything per the instructions, the install is fairly simple, the switch is in a (Can Am Maverick X3), however, when I connected my side mirrors w/lights, to the controller panel,they looked like they were on, even without the car turned on, it’s like there was a residual power going to the controller, the lights come on fully when the circuit they are on is turned on, however, they never go off completely. this is an obvious issue as it will continually drain the battery. These xprite side mirrors worked fine when I had them hooked to the rocker switch, so it has to be the controller.I also have my particle separator connected to the controller and it does not do that, it only comes on when the switch for that circuit is activated. I gave it two stars because it could be a good controller, if it worked correctly, I am interested to see how good the two year warranty is?***UPDATE***I wanted to update my review of this product. After contacting Nilight customer service and explaining the problem I was experiencing, and a quick video of the issue, they sent me a whole new controller. Once I installed the new controller, all the issues described above went away. I want to say kudos to the Nilight customer service team, they did a great job of listening to the issue and rectifying it in a timely manner.

I’ve bought off road lights from Nilight and toggle switches and never had any issues, until I seen the controller. Seemed like a great way to control all the different lights. Well, I ordered it. It arrived, installed it to find out it was dead controller. Sent it back and received a new one. Installed the new one and it worked great! Used again days later and lite up the sky’s! Couple weeks went by and when I started the jeep the controller blinked really fast and then died forever. That was the end of June, trying to call Nilight is useless. Tried the text with pictures and videos explaining everything. Still trying to talk with them with the same automated message of “they’re sorry if we missed your call” every time?? If you wait on the phone the message just repeats itself over and over. You start over ever time you send a text.UPDATE: After weeks of back and forth on text messages Nilight has sent me a new replacement. They stated that they had a bad batch of controllers and had fixed the issue.So I have the new unit and haven’t installed yet. Just wanted to give Nilight some props! They came thru for this customer anyway. So if you have issues, don’t give up on them. The only way to remedy any issues is through texting. Let always seem to answer and ask questions in the overnight hours.

Wire it through a relay box
This works amazing has lasted over a year! Controls my light bar, ditch lights, rock lights, bumper lights and fog lights “”””BUT”””( I wired mine through a relay box) I would never run all that power through a solid state switch panel that’s just asking for trouble! I wired it So this switch panel only operates relays not the actual light that it’s operating that’s the only way in my option to get it to last.

Wow love this unit made for an easy install, only down fall is wish you had option for a neg battery box as well. Luckily had a distribution box laying around from a stereo install I never used so have main back up battery neg line going to box beside this gang switch box.

Overall a great switch pod/controller, instructions are pretty plain however so some electrical knowledge helps if installed by self, which for most should be doable. Only thing I would like to have seen added is a way to mount the fuse box but get it’s near impossible to have a universal mount.
