Solid RGB Full-Size Keyboard That Stays Comfortable Through Long Sessions
I picked this keyboard up because I wanted a full-size wired option with customizable lighting and a palm rest for long stretches of work and gaming. The spill-resistant design sounded practical around coffee cups, and the ability to set five lighting zones helps me match my monitor setup or game themes. The dedicated media keys felt like a nice touch for quick volume tweaks without leaving the game.In daily use the keyboard feels sturdy and the keys register quickly. The anti-ghosting matrix means I can press a handful of keys at once without input getting garbled, which is helpful during fast-paced games and hotkey-heavy productivity tasks. The adjustable feet and integrated palm rest keep my wrists in a comfortable position, even after hours at the desk. What stood out most is the lighting. The LED colors are bright and even, and the low light bleed around the keycaps makes the letters easier to read in dim light without being distracting. The software for customizing lighting and key functions is straightforward and quick to pick up, which makes tweaking things feel effortless. The only small caveat is that it is a full-size board, so it takes a bit more desk space and I had to adjust my workspace layout. There is a bit of a learning curve if you want to remap function keys or create complex macros, but once you set it up it stays put. Overall I’m very happy with the experience and this keyboard earns five stars for its reliability and comfort.

Great Keyboard! Lasted for 5+ years
This wired keyboard is an oldie but goodie! It has great quality for the keys, and the build quality is solid. Feels light to the touch, but it does NOT miss that great Logitech build quality! I have had this keyboard for over 5+ years, and it has never failed me. No key failures, no breaking of the keyboard, nothing. It worked terrifically, and I was able to keep it until I eventually bought a new one. This keyboard has nice RGB and works with the Logitech G Hub application, if you wish to use that. It is a WIRED keyboard, so be aware of that, but honestly, you already know that! This keyboard is much older, but still so good! It is affordable, but the build quality is SO nice that I don’t really have any complaints.I changed out of this keyboard, NOT because it broke, just because I wanted to change my setup from a black setup to a white setup that I changed not long ago! I still use a Logitech keyboard, just instead, upgrading to a Logitech G715, as it was a nice white keyboard, with clicky keys.

Way better than expected.
Had it a few days and so far amazing. Maybe I have a bias because I came from a few years worn keyboard but compared to my last one it is a upgrade in every single way. Typing and gaming is good even got a game mode button that does a lot but my favorite is that windows key doesn’t pop up windows so you can possibly use it as a extra key. Lightwight for its size and seems durable. LED are easy to control and synce all the audio buttons and additions on the top right actually come in super useful. The bottom comes out to support your hand more and makes it way more comfortable Loving it so far. Only complaint I can try to find are LED are not the brightest, the keyboard is bigger and takes up more space. ( I personally love it because of comfort.) Also last complaint is it more quite than some of my keyboard but is slightly louder than my last keyboard but my last keyboard had mushy feeling keys. Light

Illusion or fact
I’m a author, graphic artist, photo editor and generally a person who uses a desktop computer keyboard a lot, much more than average. I am not a gamer, however I have bought several gamer keyboards in the past thinking the mechanical keys may give me a better feel and longer longevity so I can say this model is not a true gamer keyboard.THE INEVITABLE COMPARISONAs a power user of keyboards I literally wear them out. I have owned so many brands and models I’ve lost count. Most range from bad to terrible. I am not particularly fond of Logitech as a company, I don’t believe they have a very good reputation for customer service and I think most people who have owned their products will agree that their products don’t last as long as they should. But yet, for a good solid product that feels good to human hands they are probably the only game in town these days. So I keep buying their mice and keyboards, over and over again.Their K740 has often been called the gold standard, it is nearly perfect, or at least was. For a while it was being sold as a redesigned model with chicklet keys. I don’t think that went over so well and it seems to have been discontinued. After my fourth K740 started giving me troubles, and the availability of used ones drying up, I decided to try this one. From the photos it looks almost identical, and it seems to have real full-dimensional key – not chiclets. In fact, at least in the photos, the keys seemed to have more of the shape of the legendary IBM Selectric than the flatter-topped keys of the K740.ILLUSION OR FACT – THE COMPARISONHere is my direct comparison between the original design of one of the best keyboards ever made and this one which I bought at about forty-five bucks. The first impression is that it is solid, heavy and seems to be very substantial for the price. The USB cord is massive, I think just for effect, but I don’t think it translates well into usability. My cord needs to snake around several things on my desk, impossible with this very stiff cord, so that changes how I like to have my keyboard and desktop arranged. But I can live with that. How it looks is fine but the real proof is when I sit down and start to type. I want my keyboard to melt away when I use it, in other words I don’t want to think about it, I just want it to be a tool that translates the movement of my fingers into words on the screen. In comparison this model does indeed have a nice feel, the keys seem to be where they should be and the key travel is just about right to give the user a positive tactile feedback. But on the downside, whereas the K740 is nearly silent in operation this model has a noticeable key click sound that doesn’t seem to be consistent from one key to another. It’s a subtle difference but a fast touch typist might think the key feedback is slightly less than optimal. That is fully a user preference though, either you’re going to like or not. I am getting used to it but I do prefer the silent keystroke of the older model. One immediate thing you will notice is the lighting. The older model has pure white laser etched lighting that is soft, subtle and very useful for typing in low light conditions. It’s about as good as it gets. The Prodigy on the other hand is meant to dazzle with multi-color zones, something gamers like. The lighting is slightly dimmer. On the plus side is that the colors are programmable and there is almost no light leak between the keys. There is one dedicated button to turn the illumination on and off.THINGS YOU MIGHT WANT TO KNOWI’ll run through a few first impressions: one is that the palm rest is hard plastic as is the rest of the body of the unit, it is not padded or non-slip like the K740. This model has four bright white status lights for caps lock, num lock, etc. They are within your line of vision and you will either like that or not. I am so used to the K760’s on-screen display I think I prefer it to status lights. The labels next to the lights are extremely tiny and the same color as the rest of the plastic – in other words you have to memorize the position of each to be useful. The media keys are very well thought out, they are all in the far corner on the upper right and each key has a dedicated function. I rarely use media keys but I think I will start using them now, I like this design very much.NOT FACTHere are a few things that separate reality from hype. One is that the product you get is not what they picture in their ad. That’s inexcusable, they’ve shipped enough of this model that they could have corrected their misrepresentation by now. The biggest difference are in the size and shape of the enter and backspace keys – which to someone who uses a keyboard many hours a day can be a very big deal. The other this, again inexcusable, is that you can’t use the standard Logitech SetPoint keyboard app, you need to download a different one for this model.YES OR NOHow a keyboard feels is the most important thing it does and you can read a thousand reviews and every one of them will be an opinion – no one can decide for you if it will feel good to you, the only way you will know is to buy it, try it, and keep it if you like it, otherwise send it back. My rating is conditional – it is positive considering you can’t get a real K740 anymore – the replacement is nowhere near in the same league as the original, and it still costs way too much. You also no longer have a ready source of reconditioned ones. So you’re stuck with this model if you want something good. My bottom line is that it’s quite good and I’ll probably get used it its little quirks, I would like it better if it was less noisy. And I can’t five points to any product that shows one thing and sells you something else.

Solid for price
Solid keyboard for it’s price. Had to replace my Havit Magic eagle keyboard after about a decade of use, the numbers were wearing out from all the mmo stuff I’ve been playing. Sucks that the media keys are at the top right instead of entire left side like I’m used to, but oh well. For the price this is pretty good for having both media and numpad keys, hopefully it holds up for even half as long as my old havit though

I work a job that requires a lot of typing. I got it for work because I have tendinitis in one hand and am prone to my hands hurting. I’ve been using it for 2 years and it’s been amazing so I bought one for my home computer. The sound is amazing, not too loud but just enough to feel stimulating. The keys are buttery when they’re new but get better the more you break it in. The layout is also great in terms of spacing as I usually have long nails. It’s a massive keyboard so not a great option for limited space but I love the num pad.

I had a keyboard just like this that I purchased about 5 years ago from a big box store and it ended up costing about $50 more than I paid for this one and it’s almost identical. Perfect quality, great responses with the keystrokes, perfect for gaming and it won’t kill your budget. I highly recommend getting this if you need a keyboard.
