Reliable Lock, Outstanding Support.
We installed the Lockly Secure Pro on our front door two and a half years ago, and it’s been a great addition—both stylish and incredibly convenient, especially with the fingerprint detection. But what really impressed me was their customer service.Last week, the lock stopped working. I reached out to support, and the experience was exceptional. The agent I spoke with was patient, knowledgeable, and guided me step-by-step through troubleshooting. Turns out the original installer had missed a cotter pin. Not only did she walk me through a temporary fix, but Lockly also expedited the correct part to me.It’s rare to find a company that stands by its product *years* after purchase. I highly recommend both the Lockly Secure Pro and the company behind it—especially the support team that truly delivers.

High quality smart lock with integrated fingerprint reader secures the door and makes entry a snap!
I purchased the Lockly Secure Pro to replace a failing Kwikset smart lock. The Kwikset was good when it worked but as it aged sometimes you’d hear the unlocking mechanism turning yet it would actually not unlock or nothing would happen at all even after a valid unlock code was entered into the lock.A review of the market showed many options but the Lockly stood out among all the choices.2 weeks later I can tell you I couldn’t be happier with the Lockly lock.Installation was fairly easy. Because the Lockly lock is tall the manufacturer does recommend drilling a hole above the main lockset opening to better secure the lock to the door. This is easy to do if you own a drill, makes the lock more secure to the door and is completely concealed once installation is complete.Once installed in the door you need to setup and configure the lock using a app on your smartphone. The app connects to the lock via Bluetooth and later WiFi and lets you do things like add or remove access codes, fingerprints, review logs and more. The lock itself is very solid, pulling down on the handle to unlatch the door almost feels like a commercial door, strong, not flimsy, giving the feeling of a good solid lock. The finish on my lock is the “Venetian Bronze” and this too looks great, not a cheap paint job but instead a really nice, clean, polished finish.Unlocking the door is easy, tapping on the display activated a series of circles with random numbers in each. I say random because each time you activate the display the numbers come up in a different order. To unlock the door your look for your access code pressing the correct circles then push an icon to unlock the door. This is a nice feature I suppose if your door is in a place where people maybe watching your finger pattern to learn your code, for most of us however nobody is usually around me when I’m unlocking the door so this can and does slow down the opening process a bit. You can press a button each time to cause the numbers to rearrange in order but that’s an extra click which adds to the unlock time. The beauty of the lock however is the fingerprint reader. With the fingerprint reader you just walk up to the lock, place your finger on the reader, wait about a second and you hear the lock mechanism activate and then you activate the lever. This is how I use this lock each and every time. The fingerprint reader works very well and unlocks the lock nearly each time on the first try.A few other useful things worthy of mention here is you can setup codes for family and friends, even one time use codes you may need to give out during an emergency, this is easy to do and works well. If you connect the lock to WiFi yiu can also get instant SMS alerts on your smartphone when someone unlocks the lock (the message will say “Front door unlocked by Susan” and you will also her a message when the door is closed.Bottom line is this is a well made product that includes many smart features. The fingerprint reader really makes it easy to unlock the door. I would certainly recommend this product to anyone looking for a great, high end lock.

well worth the money
bought this after seeing lock picking lawyer doing a review of the deadbolt. because of the review I knew the lock core was well done and it didn’t seem to have an flaws that a magnet could override. the code pad works great. the finger sensor works great. was able to install in existing door hole without issue. didn’t add the upper mount, just used the 2 sided tape. the batteries are still going strong after the year. batteries should last. many more years. would recommend the Wi-Fi adapter so you can control the lock while on vacation if needed.

Be warned, not intended for residential exterior doors. Not use friendly at all!
So I am a giant smart home need. I tend to buy all the latest stuff and try it out. I have tried several variations of smart locks and dead bolts so I don’t take this review lightly.Summary first-Doesn’t fit residential doors that have deadbolts-uses square shaped latches that require carving out your door-no smart home systems support-horrible customer service-insanely complicated to install and setup-6 to 8 digit codes only. Can’t use 4-finger print reader works about 30% of the time and can’t be enrolled unless your there with an active Bluetooth connection to the lock so no remotely setting people up.-finger print reader is so close to the door jam you can’t get your finger to it.-unattractive long latch and industrial lookWant the details, read on. I did a full review :)At first when I unpackaged it, I was excited that it felt solid, like well made. However, that excitement quickly faded when I saw the do not lose card that I must keep forever and the 4 additional manuals explaining how to install and assemble. Followed by an entire application dedicated to helping you install the hardware. Yup, it’s that difficult. Not your every day 2 screws out, 2 screws in type of lock, but I don’t mind a challenge, I’m a handy guy. I called customer service because there are so many Models that look the same in the app and even after scanning your QR code it has no idea which of the 10 models it is. Seriously, you scanned the QR code lol and you still need more info from me? Come on.But I digress, customer service was awful they kept just saying select the latch model. I ended up having to screenshot their own app for them to understand that there are several models with latch in the title. So I moved into the software part. More bad news, it doesn’t support smart home systems at all. Not smart things, not nest, not wink, nothing. You can add it to Google home, so I guess that’s a tiny win, but not much of one for consolidation of apps.I continued through the setup to find that it requires 6 to 8 digit codes. No options to do 4. I have kids. We’ve always done 4 digits codes. If that’s good enough for the ATMs it should be good enough for your lock. 6 digit codes are more likely to be hacked as they are harvey to remember random numbers. So your instincts are to birth dates, or phone numbers, all the common things that hackers would try first. Too bad :(.But I thought, no big deal, I’ll just use the finger print reader. Which forces you to use bluetooth to enroll so you can’t enroll fingerprints remotely, but anyways it encourages you to enroll the same finger twice. Tells you how confident they are in their ability to read your finger print lol. So I did it. Then I immediately tried it several times. It almost always opened on the 3rd or 4th finger read attempt. But for complete thoroughness I continued on my plan to give it a week of active usage before I give up. I started on the arduous installation. Of course they have square outlines instead of rounded, so I had to chip out my spring latch indents on the edges of the door to get it in. Only to realize that it’s not made for residential doors. 🙁 What!?!? Seriously. Yeah that’s right, if you have a dead bolt, you can’t use this lock. See my pictures. You would need to buy an undrilled door and customize your dead bolt location to use this. But I continued lol, I thought ok I’ll patch the dead bolt hole and wood filler it, if I like the lock fingerprint usage. After just a few short moments I realized that the finger print is on the door jam side, with no way to alternate it. And with weather stripping and trim which all residential exterior doors have, you can’t really get your finger on the reader. See pictures.Such a horrible design. They couldn’t of screwed this up any worse.I guess if you have a flat door in an office building it might work for you, maybe but not reliably. To top it all off, my wife came out and said eww you aren’t putting that hideous industrial looking lock with the enormous foot long handle on our door are you? Lol so all in all this is a huge flop.I think if they take some time to make models that have left and right swing options for the finger print reader, redesigned to fit under the deadbolt, fixed the lousy finger print recognition, use rounded metal edging on their spring latches, allow 4 digits code options, it’s my home, my choice, and support smart home systems.. well then they might stand a chance in the residential market, but this lock will not likely be around long with it’s horrible design.

This is a great edition for any house. Love the ease of install. And the no key entry into the house. Definitely recommend.

Item is very complicated, it needs more description on compatibility. Very disappointing, got 2 of them one in UAE one from US. The one from the local supplier couldn’t return, by the time we tried couple of our friends apartments and our office, return wasn’t available. The one from US return costs same as the item.
