Liked Camera So Much, That I Bought More
Planning for long-term travel and not wanting a subscription service, I bought two Blink Outdoor 4 outdoor wireless camera to remotely monitor my front door for packages, and patio door for intruders. I also bought the Blink Sync XR (eXtended Range) base unit for local storage backup, and in case I wanted to later place cameras deeper into the yard. I selected Blink for the live streaming with two-way audio feature; however, I became addicted to the “Moments” video clip grouping and sharing feature during the free 30-day trial Plus Plan … so I bought 4 additional cameras, and plan to purchase the Plus service at the end of the free trial period. The system was easy to install and setup, and, if you dare, has more advanced features that I enjoy and use. Nighttime resolution is very good. I had several false motion triggers until I configured each camera Zone to blocked out the offending areas. Slightly annoying, there is a 2 second delay between motion detection and alerting on my Android phone … unrealistically, I wish for immediate … and then it takes me at least an additional 3 seconds to unlock my phone and active live camera streaming. I did not need it, but I like the configurable privacy Zone to omit areas from video recording. I would like to see access controls, such as a parent or master mode and a restricted child or user mode to limit who can configure the system and delete videos … currently, all users have full access and control … which is easy to make mistakes if not careful.

Reconditioned Blink camera system works great
I love the Blink camera systems. I decided to add new cameras and decided to take a chance on these reconditioned ones.If the durability is as long as my other Blink cameras this purchase will be well worth the money. The cameras easily connected to my WiFi, which is Starlink.They are packaged well and everything is included, even the screws to attach the camera holders. Everything looks like new with no scuffs or scratches.So far, the batteries have worked well and I have not had to replace them.As always, the motion detection is great. I have never had any problems with that from Blink cameras.

Refurbished, yet like brand new.
Very happy with the refurbished cameras. They have very clear video. The side to side view is excellent. I do wish there was more vertical viewing.I am a bit disappointed that the app takes so long to load. By the time it comes up, whoever was at the door has given up and left. I have a cloud subscription and sometimes it’ll record the activity, but often will not. I am also disappointed that I am unable to set it up to work on my computer. It works great on my android, but there is no way to set it up to run on my Windows. It is supposed to work with Alexa, but as yet I am unable to get Alexa to recognize any commands I give it even though it shows to be connected and recognized. Being an Amazon product, I had hoped for better usability across the board and faster response times.

I was a bit leary as these were refurbished. But they work great. Integrated easily into my existing Blink camera system. They were clean, well packed, all the parts were there, came with fresh lithium batteries and a new Blink hub which I did not expect.
