Fun to play with
The hexbugs is functional and playability is fun. Battery life last about 2 weeks.

Fun interactive toy for pets
Got this to interact with my pets! Crawls on carpet and tile just fine. My dog always gets excited with this! 🐶 The tail seems to come off frequently when my dog handles it but good thing it can be clipped back on! My cat is also intrigued by it

Fun toy! Beware of hiding places!
Hexbugs are great! Just be sure that you’re operating them in a space where it can’t get stuck. We use one of the arenas, so we can make sure it doesn’t go under the couch or appliances. One thing to note is that it’s a random color that’s selected, and we ended up with a purple scorpion!

Tail does break easily
My cats LOVE IT. 4 stars because the tail did break off super easily, it still works totally fine. My cats love hunting it. The loud noise did put them off at first, but they couldn’t resist it.

Such a fun gift but with my kids it did not last long before it broke. Not durable, but was fun while it lasted

These scorpion hexbots are really cool, their movement triggers a bit of the creeps if you are sensitive to arachnids/insects in your day. They don’t get as much play as we hoped, you can’t really interact too much with them when they are scurring around, besides trying to stop them or run away.
