Yes. It’s important to get insulation caps off and get batteries fully charged before using them for the first time.
Becasue the batteries only have get 60% charged when left factory.
Should we add insulation caps for batteries when storing them ?
It’s importand to do like that.
The batteries will discharge continuously when storing in charger without insulation caps, and remaining power may be very low even if you have get them fully charged before storing.
Does the charger be compatible with other Ni-MH rechargeable batteries ?
The charger only support li-ion rechargeable batteries, but can’t support Ni-MH or other rechargeable batteries.
Does the batteries could be used in any VR charging station ?
Definitely not. The batteries only could be charged with the comed smart charger.
After 30+ hours of continuously using, why the headset always report as 100% power left ?
Because controllers relies on the output voltage of the battery to calculate the remaining power.
However, the output voltage of li-ion battery is always 1.5V until power off, and that’s why the headset board always shows it still 100% power left.

I am really happy with these so far! I’ve only been using them for two days so I’ll come back if I have issues in future but so far love this product! Use them for my meta quest 3s controllers. I like that you get four so you can charge and keep them on trickle charge so you can change out two at time. The lights on the holder function great! It is small so fits easily in my case! Great value! Better than buying batteries over and over! Plus think about the environment!

Got these when some cheaper rechargeable batteries died. These are much better! Good quality case, to hold/charge the batteries. Charging lights are a nice touch in top of the lid. Batteries last longer than standard Nickel rechargeable batteries. Definitely worth the buy!

Update – the seller got in touch with me and made things right. That to me, is just as important as having a good product. My battery case was just defective. Thank you for making this a quick and problem free experienceIf I could make it a negative star, I would. The lid will not stay closed enough to make the connection that is needed to charge the batteries. So basically, it’s useless.

Work great-long lasting
They worked perfectly after I realized they ship with clear plastic covers over the positive post of the battery. Haha. Be sure to remove those or they won’t charge. So far they work great in my Quest 3 controllers. Played Golf+ lat night for almost 2 hours and still show full battery.
