A Great Addition!
I never thought that I would have added a Smart Lock to my home. However, the placement matter to me. I installed this smart lock in the perfect spot in my home. Since installing it, it was work smoothly without any issues. After going through setup and adding access, I am pleased with the notifications and how they inform you about who is entering the door. The smart lock has 4 options to unlock it. I selected to use 2 options per access. Adding, blocking, and deleting access is seamless.

Peace of Mind Every Night with a Rock-Solid Smart Lock
The build quality and handle design stand out immediately. The lever has a solid heft to it–smooth and comfortable to grasp–and having lever hardware instead of a knob makes a difference when carrying groceries or juggling bags. It feels like a small upgrade that pays off every day.The most important feature for me is the ability to schedule it to lock at a certain time every night. Now I don’t lay in bed wondering if I remembered to lock the door; it just takes care of itself, and that peace of mind is huge. Fingerprint recognition isn’t flawless–it often works on the first try, but sometimes I have to try again–but it’s quick enough and reliable enough that I never think of it as a problem.Installation takes some patience, but the instructions are clear, and the process is very doable if you pay attention step by step. Once installed, the app setup is simple. I think of it as “set it and forget it”–I created the schedule, turned on notifications, and haven’t had to open the app again. Unlocking makes a quiet mechanical sound, and there’s a fairly loud beep by default that can be disabled (I turned it off right away).Durability has been excellent. My unit is fully exposed–no overhang, sitting in direct desert sun and rain for seven months–and it has never faltered. I’ve only had to replace the batteries once in that time, even with multiple entries and exits every day. The Wi-Fi connection has been rock solid as well; remote access has never failed me.I liked this lock so much that I purchased another one for my garage side door. It’s a product that combines comfort, reliability, and peace of mind in a way that makes it easy to recommend.

Eufy C33 lock rocks!
I love the Eufy C33 lock, it works awesome! The fingerprint reader is the way to go. I don’t understand the purpose of the privacy lock switch, I would rather use that inside switch to keep the door u locked. I’ll have to play around with it to see if I can keep the door unlocked at times. The only negative thing I have to say about it is the battery cover pops off once and a while when the door gets sucked closed too hard from the garage door being open. Not sure of the cause, but something that was overlooked by Eufy. I put a piece of black electrical tape above the top of the battery cover, hoping the issue will go away.

Not sure how many stars to give. After 2 days of installation challenges, took a video and sent an email to eufy. They responded fairly quickly, considering what I imagined to be an international time difference. They sent follow-up videos and ask more probing questions. Unfortunately, the process took several days in the back and forth. Ultimately though, they stood behind their product and have sent a replacement. So one star for the product not working and five stars for the customer service. Will edit this review when the replacement arrives. All in all the directions were very straightforward and easy to do in a short amount of time. I will add this… DO NOT USE THE BATTERIES THEY SEND WITH THE UNIT. After much internet research, found time and time again that using your own batteries will help fix a lot of things. It did but ultimately could not remedy a faulty keypad. If you’re having trouble try that step first.

This has a touch screen and not physical buttons. Not totally usable for a totally blind person.
I’m totally blind. I wanted a smart door handle taht I could connect to Alexa. Well I don’t know if this one would or wouldn’t. I also wanted one taht had a physical number keypad. The Amazon AI tolld said it did ahve physical buttons. Well when I got the door handles, I found out this doesn’t have physical buttons. So being I have no backup for when the finger print reader doesn’t work in the winter! Returning it. The fact this has a touch screenb wasn’t given anyware in the discription. If that had been stated; I never would have bothered with it. Totally disappointed with this door handle. Otherwise it felt well built and I like the fact that the normal key whole and power port whir on the bottom of the outside unit. I also like the fact that the batteries would have went in below the door handle on the inside of the door. But do to this not having physical buttons, doesn’t meet my needs. Don’t want something that has a touch screen being I can’t see at all. The other downside to this lock is you must press down on the handle to unlock the door. You can not lift up on it. So basically what I’m saying, this only will work one direction. Not that is a big deal, just something to know and to be aware of.So if you are totally blind! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT if you want access to all the functions. NOT doable.

So happy!
I just started renting out my cabin as an Airbnb. This is the perfect solution to living remotely and being able to update the codes for the different clients. It hasn’t failed me once I just love it and then I am so happy that this is a purchase I made. It took me a minute to install it because I’ve never installed a door knob before and had to go to the tutorial on YouTube to do it but it all worked out. We were able to get it installed and I’m very very happy with it.

Eufy great brand.
Very good lock and easy to setup. The only downside I see is with the keypad. It does not hold up well if your house has a west facing door. The direct sun will over time deteriorate and won’t work. This did not stop me from getting a new one. Eufy runs our house and this is my first and only hiccup with the brand.

Great lock!
Replaced a Kwikset electronic lock that always caused trouble. Their customer service was great but who wants to troubleshoot and replace a lock every 3 months. This lock is fantastic. Never loses connection with App or Alexa and really like the fingerprint opening. Over 5 months use and batteries still show full charge.
