This is a decent name brand LED strip that should hold up well.It has numerous programmable color effect capabilities so I won’t catalog that here as they are highlighted in the listing.I do have a few criticisms however:- A small, in-line wired controller is provided but the wire leads are so short that the controller has to be mounted quite close to the strip itself. This limits where the strip can be installed if you have any desire to manually turn the device off/on.- a wireless remote is not included so the functionality of the strip can’t be controlled except via the proprietary mobile app. This makes the device less than ideal for a children’s playroom or bedroom as they won’t typically have a phone. This seems like a major oversight given that even cheap LED candles come with a remote these days.- only a few mounting connectors are included. I used them where the controller connected to the strip to hold the extra weight of the cable but practically speaking, mounts are needed at inside corners of walls where the adhesive on the strip is not strong enough to stay put.

The Energizer Smart RGB+ Light Strip is a great way to add color to a room or create some ambient lighting in your space. Not only are they kind to your bank account, but they have a ton of features that you will love! This set doesn’t come with a remote control that you cannot find when you need it. However, you can use the app on your phone to control the settings, which is way more convenient than using a remote. We have multiple Energizer devices and they are all controlled within that one app which is nice because we don’t need multiple remotes.The LED strip lights are easy to install. It is pre-wired and ready to go. They fit our space perfectly and have bright vibrant colors. There is a music-sync mode as well as scene modes that you can use to set the tone for your room. We enjoy changing the colors to match our favorite sports teams when we are watching the games on tv. We love these lights!!An installation tip: make sure that the surface you are installing them on is clean and dust free so the adhesive sticks.

Bought these for my 23-year-old son’s gaming room/man cave, and he absolutely went bonkers over them. He’s still working on getting them set up just right, but even out of the box, he was hyped. The brand is one he trusts, so right away he felt good about the quality.The lights are super customizable. You can get that smooth flowing color vibe or go full-on party mode. It’s not just a single color flash like some cheap strips — these have dynamic transitions that actually look high-end and futuristic.He’s especially excited about the sound-reactive feature. Apparently, it syncs to whatever game or music he’s got playing, so the whole room will light up in rhythm. I don’t fully understand it, but he does, and he’s already planning where to mount everything for maximum effect. Can’t wait to see the final setup — he said he’d send pictures once it’s all done. Setup was straightforward with Wi-Fi connectivity and easy integration with Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant—no hub needed.The app is user-friendly, letting you control colors, brightness, and scheduling remotely. The 100-foot length is perfect for lighting up large rooms or accent areas. My daughter loves her room now that it is colorful and lit up. The app has a few functions to change what the lights do. Good value for the money.I took one star off because the adhesive wasn’t quite strong enough for some textured surfaces in my home, requiring extra effort to secure it fully. Also, it does not come with enough clips to hold it up instead of the adhesive.Overall, it’s a great product with lots of features and excellent lighting effects, just minor room for improvement in mounting.

Huge color range and features that actually work
This light strip is loaded with features and thankfully they all work pretty well. The color flow effect looks great and the transitions are smooth, not blocky like cheaper ones I’ve used. It wraps easily around corners and sticks without peeling up. The app is easy to use and lets you control everything like colors, brightness, music mode and scheduling. It also worked instantly with Alexa with no hub needed. Music sync is fun and surprisingly responsive (I have tried other ones that are not responsive at all, so appreciate it!). I’ve got it running around the ceiling of a bedroom and it completely changed the vibe. It’s a lot of lighting for the price and definitely feels like a better value than smaller or off-brand options. Great for decorating or just giving a room a better mood.
