A lot of quiet air
This fan is ideal, it works well. The remote control is convenient. The air flow is really good. And most importantly for me it’s quiet. You’ll be able to adjust the fan to your desired air flow liking. I went through several other fans including the tower fans. I returned them all.

The 2025 model does tilt down. Overall this is great, quiet fan that moves focused air well
Highly recommended. I like the quiet, focused air. The 2025 fan moves from -30 to 90 manually and by oscillation through the remote, app or buttons on the base. The wind noise is always louder than the motor noise which is impressive. The wind noise is just the air moving over the fan blades which is expected for such small blades. This is the opposite of a ceiling fan with 55″ blades that has little wind noise but noticeable motor noise. From 15 feet away I feel a light breeze but I can hear the wind noise at level 1 so this fan isn’t silent but it is quiet. This fan is similar to the tower fan from Dreo for low noise and a focused air stream. The app works well and the fan construction seems durable. The fan blades and grille can be removed for cleaning. Two gripes: The 16″ fan is somewhat small. It would be good if there was a 20-25″ model. The oscillation is only 120 degrees. It would be great if the oscillation was adjustable and went from 45 degrees to 360 degrees. I would pay more money for both of these options.

A Fan With Quiet to Typhoon Settings
This was bought for a bedroom. It does all the things that are described, and well. It comes with a remote control, but the phone app is relatively intuitive and more convenient since most people have their phones nearby.I read somewhere that this fan does not work well with Siri; that is not my experience. It’s easy to create shortcuts that will control on/off functions, oscillation, etc.On low it moves the air but is almost silent. It also has a Turbo setting that really pushes air.We liked this fan so much we bought one of their tower fans. I can’t speak to longevity, but these are the best fans I’ve used.

Well worth the initial price.
This fan really has it all. In our office/den/3rd bedroom, we have a desk with a hutch… and this fits perfectly on top. Even on speed level 1, it powers enough air to easily circulate across the room! The vertical oscillation allows the fan to aim downward which is fantastic as well. At level 1 it’s completely silent… and even at higher levels you only get noise from the blades spinning, but no motor “hums” or whines. The base is weighted and sturdy, so no concerns of tipping or falling. Build quality & plastics seems adequate. Time will tell, but so far quite impressed!

Happy purchase.
Had woowoo fan from big box store and wanted more control over oscillation. This DREO is impressive. Fan works great without requiring any apps. I know people don’t like “apps” but it really elevates the function by including customizable schedules and timers, oscillation patterns, logic for temperature-based fan speed, ability to shut off fan if not home. It’s also quiet for the air it pushes and speed1 uses very little power. I air dry my clothes on speed1.The woowoo fan from big box would only oscillate in the outline of a square missing the entire middle. This DREO correctly oscillates the entire area of a square all points within. It also calibrates itself if someone manually moves it. There isn’t a rigid worm gear that will break if something manually moves the fan.Now that I have this my only regret is not buying the pedestal version because my furniture situation lessens the power of this fan and its ability to point itself into different rooms using logic. I will get a small stool, though. The included physical remote could use some redesign if like me you turn it on in the dark, but now I use the app on an old phone. The barrel connector for the power could also maybe recess deeper into the base. I also don’t know what that ring on the back is for.ps I learned about this from Matthias Wandel if you want to see some technical points and energy numbers.pps I liked it so much I eventually bought a second one.pppss I feel like I need to say I bought this and didn’t get a free one.

Very satisfied. Easy controls. Quiet at fan speeds 1 – 5, noisier at speeds 6 – 9. Silent motor.
I have had the fan for several months now. I can’t comment on its multi-year longevity but I am very satisfied with its performance so far.The manual controls consist of six touch buttons in the base: power, fan speed, horizontal oscillation range, vertical oscillation range, mode, and timer. Values or settings are shown on an LED display on the fan supporting column. These functions are duplicated on the remote control unit. The controls work as follows:* Fan speed: nine speeds. At speeds 1 – 3 I can comfortably read a book or snooze within five feet of the fan. There is a slight background wind noise from the fan blades. At speeds 4 and 5 I can still read or snooze but the wind noise is more noticeable. At speeds 6 – 9 the wind noise is too high to allow reading or napping nearby. All these sounds come from the air passing through the fan blades. The motor is almost silent. I mostly use fan speed 3. Even at this speed, the air circulation within the room is very good and I have installed the fan in a combination living room – dining room with dimensions approximately 35 feet (11 meters) long x 17 feet (5.5 meters) wide x 15 feet (4.5 meters) ceiling height. I have never found a need to use a fan speed greater than 5.* There are four angle settings for vertical oscillation and five settings for horizontal oscillation. The vertical oscillation ranges are 0, 30, 60, and 90 degrees. The horizontal oscillation ranges are 0, 30, 60, 90, and 120 degrees. In both cases, at a setting of “0” the fan will maintain the angle or setting that you can manually set by adjusting the fan on its column before starting the fan.* Timer: nine settings 0 – 9 hours at one hour intervals. At a setting of “0” the fan runs continuously until you turn it off. The fan is advertised as being able to start / stop by clock settings. This can only be done if you download the Dreo fan control app onto your cellphone. I have not done this, so I cannot comment on how easily this feature works.
