Best drone for family who care most about speed and ease of use
I am not sure why people dont like this drone from a few reviews? This by far is the easiest best flying drone I have every used, I added clips 2 make the propeller rings connect together, Maybe that is the difference maker? I have flown it in wind and no problems at all. The drone fly’s fantastic, is easy to use, If you want to get great videos not spend all day setting up your drone for that quick shot, but also still use the drone with a remote at times? For an average family that wants great high res video and pictures, I am not sure you can beat it? A great Value for the money, very durable, also will follow you around without a remote. The flymore is the way to go, you get alot of battery life, and with a 100 watt charger ( Extra Purchase on Amazon) takes very little time to charge them.

Fun starter drone with a great camera!
What a fun little drone! It’s super portable and quick to launch, and the camera is actually great on it. I use this for quick shots in a lot of places where it would be more difficult/conspicuous to launch my bigger Air 3S, such as when I’m out disc golfing or hiking… or if I’m just out and about and see an amazing sunset. Works great with an RC 2 controller, but it’s also fun to use with just your phone/voice commands too. (Just be aware that it has some limitations in those modes — e.g. no 4K/60fps, and no control of shutter speed/ISO.)One small gripe is that it only has front obstacle avoidance… so you must be extra careful if flying backwards or sideways, and/or you’re in one of the auto-modes that involves flying backwards or sideways. Despite this, I think this would still make a great first drone for someone.IMO this (camera) drone is probably the best bang for the buck right now, if decent video/image quality is important and your budget is limited. (The Neo’s camera is just nowhere near as good, and other options cost way more.)

Great Drone For Business or Personal
We use this drone for our business and it has worked beautifully. The flight is smooth and video quality is great. The battery life is about as expected (from what we read and our use). It’s easy to learn to fly. We really like the return to home feature and that it has blade guards so we can fly over people.

Flies great
Pros:This drone is amazing. I’ve had it for at least 2 or 3 weeks and it has flown as I hoped it would. The camera is great it takes amazing videos and photos. It’s quick and responsive when using the joysticks and releasing the joysticks.Obstacle avoidance feature is wonderful as well. I’ve come pretty close to things.I have not tested the range on this so I cannot comment on that. All of the extra features without the remote or the phone work great as well such as the follow me mode which I’ve used on the skateboard and it does keep up.I personally think it flies great at night and it takes great night photos and videos as well.I do also have a DJI phantom. I love that the flip is small enough, but not too small.Like anything with a propeller or prop it’s going to make noise however this drone is fairly quieter than mostCons:Battery. I will test this again, however when I tested it before I was lucky enough to get 16 to 20 minutes on the battery before it got to roughly around 30%. It could also just be me as well whereas I could be using different settings. I have yet to see 31 minutes of flight time per battery. At the moment, I honestly can’t think of anything else that is negative.

Great for beginners!
I recently purchased this beginner drone, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. Ease of operation is one of its standout features. Even as a novice, I found the controls to be intuitive and user-friendly. The drone comes with a detailed manual in DJI’s fly app that makes the setup process straightforward, and the learning curve is minimal. In terms of value for money, this drone is a fantastic investment. It offers a range of features typically found in more expensive models, such as a high-quality camera, stable flight performance, and durable build. The battery life is impressive arpund 30min, allowing for extended flight sessions without frequent recharges.Overall, I highly recommend this drone to anyone looking to get started with flying drones. It’s a perfect blend of affordability, functionality, and ease of use

Best Beginners Drone Under $500
Owning the DJI Flip for over 2 months I have tested every feature and I impressed with the quality and design of the Flip.Being my first professional rc drone I was not the biggest expert when flying but with app and plenty of resources and tutorials for this drone I was never disappointed with my purchase.Flying without the remote:Being under 250 Grams I wasn’t expecting a lot of features but with smart video modes like “Boomerang” and “Rocket” this compact drone can be a mini personal photographer (you don’t need someone to control it for you because of it’s AI tracking features).Flying with a remote:When flying with the RCN3 controller this drone is just like any other DJI drone. With its front LiDar ,beginners won’t have to worry about crashing it. Also it’s high quality boasts 48 megapixel photos and 4K video at 60 frames per second in 10 bit color, so no worries on the camera’s quality.Other Specs:>31 minute battery time (really 28 mins max)>Carbon Fiber propeller guards (the rod part)>Under 250 grams (not as many laws as a drone over 250 grams but to fly recreationally you need to take the TRUST Test if you live in the USA)>Return to Home>Plenty of smart autonomous flying modes

This is the first new drone I’ve purchased in a while. I’ve been using my Phantom 3 and Phantom 4 for many years, and I’ve had so many great times filming with them, but there’s always been a few things that bugged me, barriers to flying I guess you could say.The Flip has solved some of those issues for me.Starting with it’s size, the Flip can fit in the front pocket of my jumper, or easily into a backpack. It makes getting it around so much easier. No more having to take the big case in the car.Setting up is super easy too. Just flip it open and it’s automatically on. I can take off without a remote if I want, and it’ll just follow me around. Quite different from the phantoms, adding props, finding a flat take off and landing space, setting up the remote, setting up the phone to connect to the remote…Weight class – With the flip only being 249 grams, it relaxes some of the rules around where I can and can’t fly. With the Phantom, if I track my self on the bike, and cross paths with someone, I’m supposed to bring the drone down, or keep it 50m away from them. With the flip, I can just leave it doing it’s thing. It comes under the same weight category as a toy, but isn’t technically classed as a toy because of it’s camera.Speaking of camera, this thing really puts out some amazing video for its size. One of the fall backs of the DJI Neo, and ultimately the reason I didn’t get one of those was because the video is quite a step back. The Phantom 3 is over 10 years old at this point, but even it makes the Neo footage look rough. That wasn’t going to work for me, I needed something on par, and the Flip does that. There are ND filters and other kinds of attachable lenses for the Flip, and these can help take the footage up a notch.Flight time is superb as well. I usually stop my flights at around 25 – 30% battery, and that means I get about 20 minutes per charge, give or take. Of course, you’ll get more if you want to use that last bit of the battery. I’d recommend getting extra batteries and stopping sooner, your batteries will thank you for it and they will live longer.Stability in the wind is good here, but it’s not invincible. I had it out in some 19mph winds, with gusts being a little higher, and it handled itself. The body was sitting at a near 45 degree angle fighting the wind, but it was doing it, and the footage still looked stable. I don’t normally fly in windy conditions, but I did test my drones when I first got them, and did the same here because I wanted to get a physical feel for what it can and can’t manage. The range is just what I need. I don’t push the limits of what is advertised on this, but I do take note of the signal strength and video feed stability when I’m sending it far out. I’ve gone to 1.5 miles in line of sight and had no issues with the connection. I think that’s about as far as I’d brave it, but I think it could do a good bit more. One thing worth noting is that when connecting using only a phone, the range is fairly limited. This is due to it being powered by Wifi. The Automated flight modes are great. I enjoy the follow me mode. It’s reliable, and also safest due to the drone being able to stop when there’s an obstacle. It’ll follow your path and keep you in view. There’s other modes light dronie, spotlight, and more. There’s a custom mode that can be changed in the app, and this is where direction track is found. Direction track is the coolest mode I think. It works in the same way as the follow mode, but instead of being behind the user, it stays in the direction it started in. If it starts in front of you, it tries to stay there, if it starts beside you, it’ll try and stay there. It can be a little unpredictable sometimes though, so I’d recommend this one be used in an open space.I think the DJI Flip offers the best balance of features of all the DJI drones. It has the simplicity of the Neo, fast and fun, the autonomy of a blogging drone, a great camera, and a long range remote control. If you’re looking to step into the world of drones for the first time, I think this is the drone you should go for.
