This Smart Mini Projector completely exceeded my expectations. For its compact size, the 800 ANSI brightness delivers crisp and vivid images even with some ambient light in the room. The fact that it’s Netflix officially licensed makes a big difference, no more external streaming sticks or screen mirroring issues. Everything launches directly from the built-in interface, smooth and lag-free.The TOF real-time focus works instantly; it automatically sharpens the image as soon as you move or adjust the projector distance. I didn’t have to touch any focus buttons. The picture quality is truly native 1080P, not upscaled, and it supports 4K playback flawlessly through HDMI.Sound quality is another highlight. The Dolby Audio gives it a surprisingly full and balanced sound for such a small unit, clear dialogue and good low tones for movie nights. When paired with a Bluetooth speaker, it turns into a mini home theater.The design is clean, lightweight, and portable enough to move between rooms or take outdoors for backyard movies. It runs quietly and doesn’t overheat even after long sessions.The only small consideration is that the internal storage could be larger for those who like to download apps or content directly. But as a plug-and-play streaming projector, it’s incredibly convenient and polished.Overall, this projector combines quality, simplicity, and smart integration better than most in its class. I love this projector for a multitude of reasons, especially because I have another projector that does not come close to being as good as this one. There is a large screen that is included with this to be used for outdoor showing which is greatly appreciated and helpful. I also love that you can tilt this all the way up so that it can project straight up to the ceiling without having to do a bunch of maneuvering. Probably one of my favorite things about this projector is that it has auto focus. If you tilt the projector, turn it, or even bump into it, it will automatically refocus and adjust to fit whatever surface area it is facing, making it bigger or smaller. The remote is a great thing to have as well, you can adjust the volume, adjust the focus to fix blurriness of the picture and you can change the way the picture is projected based on how you have the projector placed. There is WiFi and Bluetooth capability, as well as HDMI, USB, and other ports. You are also supposed to be able to screen mirror and cast from your phone or other devices to watch on the projector. Unfortunately, the only time I managed to get that to work was when I casted from Netflix (which is an app automatically downloaded onto the projector) when I attempted to do the same thing from any other streaming apps on my phone it did not work and could not locate the projector.My biggest issue with this product is the fact that you have a very limited choice of apps to download from the onboard “store”. Netflix, Prime, YouTube, and YouTube Kids is already downloaded for you. When I tried to search for any of the other major streaming platforms that we subscribe to, I came up empty handed. I am assuming because this was made in a country overseas because all of the other apps available seem to be from the Middle East and other foreign countries. This was extremely disappointing because as I mentioned before, I have not been able to cast from my phone to the projector in order to stream on these other platforms. This means I have very few options in the way of streaming unless I want to directly connect a device to the projector itself. This is something I can do of course, it would just mean more hardware and more things to deal with when I would like to turn it on and get to watching as I am currently using this as my bedroom “TV”.If they could find a way to fix the streaming apps issue and make it to where things aren’t fuzzy or blurry when you project onto a very large surface (even after adjusting the auto focus) I would be 10000% happy with this product and would recommend it to everyone!

Here’s a quick evaluation of the projector.Before starting, make sure to have 2 x ‘AAA’ batteries for the remote control or else you will have to use the controls on the projector.Setup of the projector was not complicated when following the steps outlined in the User Manual. Basically, plug the projector to AC power, turn on and place the projector on a table or chair with a certain distance from a wall to be able to project the image and see it clearly. Press the Source button on the remote and a menu of 4 choices appears. HOME, HDMI, AV, USB, select HOME and press OK to start.Use the focus button on top of the projector to be able to view image and read text clearly. Adjust the projector for distance and angle as best as you can. I used a chair to easily move back and forth and the projector was also placed on the included tripod.Next configure WiFi by moving to the WiFi icon with the remote and configure the projector so that is on the same WiFi network as your devices (select WiFi SSID and configure password with the remote). Then select the Bluetooth icon and configure Bluetooth devices (if desired) for speakers and headphones. This is optional, as there is a builtin speaker in the projector.Signal Source: USBOnce the above is done, select USB as a signal source for the projector to use. Insert a USB thumb drive (formatted NTFS/FAT32/FAT) in one of the two ports available and if you have compatible videos and/or photos, they will be displayed in the file manager and you can select them using the buttons on the remote.(I tested with MP4 videos and JPG photos).It is also possible to listen to music using the same method as videos and photos from a USB storage device.Signal source: A/VThis could be a DVD player, VHS player, Camera etc. An audio/video source that outputs with RCA connectors (Yellow video, Red and white for audio). This cable is included in the boxSignal Source: HDMIThis can be any device that outputs with HDMI, such as computer, DVD, tablets etc that support HDMI output. Control the device as you normally would and the projector displays image. I had no problem streaming Netflix and Amazon Prime using this method from my iOS devices. Also, User Manual states Amazon Firestick is supported in HDMI which is great. HDMI cable includedScreen mirroring:On iOS works fine as long as the iOS device being used is on the same WiFi network as the projector. I would assume the same thing is true for Android devices, but I do not have an Android device to test.On iOS with my iPhone and iPad, I was unable to stream online content from services such as Amazon Prime or Netflix that stream using HDCP (High Definition Copy Protection), but had no problem streaming from Plex online, YouTube and my own saved videos on my iPad.This is unfortunate, but using an HDMI cable and an HDMI to Lightning adapter allows an iPhone or iPad to display HDCP content from Amazon Prime and Netflix, so select HDMI for these two services. Great for people who want to watch movies or shows in their room but don’t have the space for a tv and stand. Easy to set up and connect to, add in a portable speaker for better sound quality than the in-built speaker and you have the perfect cozy night-in movie set up. Good quality projection but a the fan noise can sound loud during quiet scenes.
