Mind Blown
Bose has created something special with this one. It’s a portable sound immersion system. It honestly doesn’t make sense that it is this good. The price almost scared me off, but then I lucked out with an unexpected 25% off sale. At 300 it felt like I should at least give it a listen, and it far exceeded my expectations. I have and love my old Bose soundlink flex se from Costco. I’ve used it at construction sites and that little puppy has brought me a lot of joy, but it’s mono not stereo like this one, and it’s battery often gave up before the work was done. This one has a longer life and the stereo magic this does is outrageous. Paired with the Bose app that allows you to set a very dynamic equalizer to your preference, and the ability to plug in the aux port makes this much more expensive device such a huge upgrade. Plus the app lets you connect multiple speakers. Even at full price this thing is great. If you are considering it. Jump on it, especially if you catch a sale price. You’ll love it. Oh yeah it can charge your phone too!

Loud and strong
Speaker sounds amazing but still I find the price tag hard to justify. I got mine while on sale for 299, seemed the perfect opportunity. Considering getting another for pairing purposes if it goes on sale anytime soon

Life just got better
I had a10 year old SoundLink that i just replaced with this. The sound is incredible. I’m a former large club DJ. For listining to any kind of music, this is brilliant. It does have a minimal EQ, but it is of great use for bass boost, etc

Possibly the best bluetooth speaker available
I have used several different bluetooth speakers over the years, but this one is absolutely divine from the design to the sound quality. It sits on my desk at work, and I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to it every day that I am there. It might be on the expensive side, but it is so worth it.

The Soundlink Max isn’t cheap, but it’s the best protable speaker for the price.
I’ve tried other speakers, and I did a lot of research. Don’t waste the time or money with anything else, unless you’re DJing wedding ceremonies. You can hear all the highs and lows, and they still sound great played loud, outside or even in another room. It’s a little heavy, but not unmanageable. The battery lasts all day playing at 70% volume. Two devices can connect via bluetooth without hassle. The Bose app doesn’t do much, but it does provide battery percentage and a simple EQ to raise or lower the high, mid, and low ranges. If you’re closer to the speaker than your media device, the physical controls provide most of all you need. The EQ can only be adjusted in the app, but I think everything else is there. When powering on, the speaker announces the available battery percentage and the connected device(s). Play/pause, volume up, and volume down are the ubiquitous buttons, but the play/pause button also functions as skip track forward with two presses and backward with three presses. Finally, there’s the “Shortcut Button”. Depending on the setting you have selected in the app connected to the Bose, the button can connect two Soundlink Max speakers, change to the aux input device, or, my favorite, it can open Spotify on a bluetooth connected device, and play a Spotify recommended playlist. If you aren’t vibing with the current playlist, press the button again, and it will start playing a new Spotify recommended playlist. Start your day or a party with a press of just two buttons.

If u love music, you’ll absolutely love this
I will be 100% truthful on this, just buy this thing! I’m old and had many stereos, many Bluetooth speakers, but this one is the absolute best I’ve ever owned! I liked Marshall before and thought i would never get anything else. UNTIL, I decided to try bose again and it’s so amazing for it’s size. Bose can be expensive, but when they say this speaker sounds bigger than what it looks, that is no joke! This speaker blew my mind! It’s amazing in every way. Highly highly recommend

NOT AS RUGGED AS BOSE SOUNDLINK REVOLVE II+
*What I Love about Bose Soundlink Max**Stand‑out Sound Quality –* Powerful bass without muddying vocals; clarity and presence that make music, podcasts, and movies feel alive.Premium Audio Feel – It sounds large and fills rooms more than you’d expect from a speaker of its size though not as loud as the JBL charge 6*What’s Frustrating**Lack of Ruggedness* – Not nearly as durable as the Bose Revolve II+. My Bose Revolve II + has survived many drops and still works fine; the Bose Soundlink Max is more fragile around buttons and ports.*Charging Port Failure (Unit #1) –* My first Bose Soundlink Max refused to charge at all after I took it out and charged with a Power bank when the battery was going down and there was no immediate power Source to charge where I was.*Power Button Fault (Unit #2) –* Two weeks ago, the power button of my second[new] Bose Soundlink Max “fell inside.” The speaker didn’t fall or suffer external damage, but now pressing “Power” feels like pushing over a void—nothing responds. Has not come on since then.*Reliability Concerns* – Because of all this, I’m on my third Bose Max speaker. That shouldn’t happen with a product at this price point—especially from Bose.*Final Thoughts*If you’re after stunning sound with booming bass, the Bose SoundLink Max may be worth your money. But caveats apply:Buy it only if you can baby it a bit—keep it protected around the buttons and charging port.If ruggedness matters more, the Bose Soundlink Revolve II+ (or similar models) might serve you better long‑term.Until they improve *build durability* or quality control, I admire the Max for how it sounds—but I’m also disappointed by how easily critical parts seem to fail.

I bought this speaker about a year ago as an upgrade for my old Bose speaker. After using it every day, I can honestly say I love this speaker! With anything though, it does have its pros and cons.Pros:- great sound- bluetooth connects quickly- can charge your phone from the speaker- can use the Bose app to customize the sound- water resistantCons:- battery does not last very long when the speaker is playing at its loudest volume (usually 1 full day playing at its loudest volume)- charges slowly (~5-6 hours)Overall, it’s a great speaker and I recommend it. I mainly use mine in my house, so the battery and charging doesn’t bother me. However, if you’re looking for something that will last days without being charged, this may not be the speaker for you.

Una bocina de excelente calidad, tiene un sonidaso, y aguanta alrededor de 6 -8 horas con carga completa y a maximo volumen, simplemente la mejor marca en sonido

This portable Bose speaker is everything I was looking for—compact, powerful, and crystal clear. The sound quality is exceptional, with rich bass and crisp highs, even at higher volumes. It’s super easy to connect via Bluetooth, and the battery life lasts all day, making it perfect for beach days, backyard hangouts, or just listening around the house. The build is sleek and sturdy, and it’s surprisingly durable for such a stylish speaker. Whether you’re using it indoors or on the go, this speaker delivers consistent, high-quality sound.Highly recommend if you’re looking for premium sound in a portable size!
