Beautiful design, Apple build quality, & TouchID! Expensive but worth the $$$.
Likes:Beautiful Design: The Magic Keyboard has a sleek, minimalist design that complements my Apple devices perfectly. It looks great on my desk and adds a touch of elegance to my workspace.Excellent Quality: The build quality is outstanding, as expected from Apple. The keyboard feels durable and well-constructed.Key Travel and Feel: The key travel and tactile feedback are just right. Typing on this keyboard is a pleasure, with just the right amount of click sound.TouchID: I came from the Satechi X3 Slim, which was much cheaper and almost as good in many areas. However, the TouchID on the Magic Keyboard is worth the upgrade. It’s a huge difference compared to having to reach over and use the MacBook’s keyboard when it’s docked. The convenience of quickly unlocking my Mac and authorizing payments with a touch is invaluable.Dislikes:Lack of Risers: I wish it had risers to lift the front of the keyboard just a bit. This would improve the typing angle and overall comfort.Price: The keyboard is expensive. While it offers excellent features and quality, the cost may be a consideration for some.Others have praised the Magic Keyboard for its easy connectivity, battery life, and overall performance. The TouchID feature is frequently highlighted as a significant advantage, especially for those using their Mac in clamshell mode. Some are upset about no backlighting and lightning cord charging. I concur with them on all accounts, but ultimately the pros outweigh the cons. It’s the best keyboard choice for Mac. If you don’t mind the budget, you won’t regret getting one.

    Good but Pricey
This keyboard works well and is easy to connect to a Mac. It feels robust. The touch-id is particularly good and useful. The only downside is that it is pricey. If touch-id isn’t essential to you, there may be cheaper options.Note that I use my keyboard for programming and general office tasks. I am not a gamer. I suspect it might not be the keyboard I would choose for gaming.

    Great keyboard
I bought this because I loved my MacBook keyboard so much and switched to an external monitor setup rather than just the laptop itself, it works great! Also wanted the numeric keyboard. I did have some lagging issues after about a week in, but that was resolved by plugging it into my MacBook and letting it be connected for about a day (could have been a low battery issue). Other than that, I have no complaints, I love the Touch ID on it because before, I was typing my password in every time because I put my Mac in clamshell mode. I do have to charge it more frequently than I thought but I really only have to every week and a half to two weeks, though I am out of school right now and am using it a lot less than I normally do during school time, so well see how long that time frame is once I start using it more. The only thing I would add would be a backlit keyboard, not a necessity, but something that would be nice for late at night, but my monitor lights up the keyboard enough to use it, would just be a nice feature to see.I will admit, I am biased because I love Apple products, I chose to buy this one for sixty bucks more (it was on sale) than a Logitech one simply because it was Apple and it also had the Touch ID.Ok, one other request, I wish it also charged via USB-C rather than Lightening because that would just make life a whole lot easier because I plan on keeping this for a while and everything lightening is going away because of the EU. But then again, I chose to buy it on a sale price rather than wait a couple months for them to release a new one.In conclusion, I truly do love this keyboard, but get it when it is on sale because even on the sale price, it is hard to justify. But the key point to this is that the only reason you should buy this over a Logitech one is because of that Touch ID, if you cannot use that or don’t use it a bunch, don’t buy it.

There’s a reason apple products work so well with other products. Very happy with this purchase, use it every day.

This product works well and I am happy with it. It has a very low profile/footprint, so even with the numeric pad it does not take up too much room. If you think you will use the numeric pad don’t be shy about buying it. The keyboard still looks great even though its wider, and really doesn’t feel like it takes up much room at all. The keys are very satisfying, comparable to the older MacBook pros. The battery life has been decent so far uses roughly 2-4 % per day, i leave it on at all times. Pairing with mac mini was brainlessly simple, the mac found it right away.I really love the biometric finger print lock/unlock. I am using this in conjunction with a mac mini M1 and it works great! A half second of delay to unlock does not bother me, it’s faster than typing my password.

Love the Touch ID addition. Keyboard feels great and it is of great quality. It also looks more modern (I got the black keys one). Battery life yet to be proven as I just got it. This is the reason why I got rid of my Logitech one as it no longer charges. Hope the battery life and duration of each charge is as advertised by Apple

Apple products are expensive but work well together. I have gotten use to having a numeric keypad since the late 1980’s and having the fingerprint thing is great
