I bought this processor in June 2023 as the main engine for my PC, and three years later I’m still super satisfied with its performance. It’s a powerful, fast, and extremely efficient CPU for all the tasks I’ve thrown at it, from demanding gaming to intense productivity work. Great upgrade
OK, I have an older computer with a decent motherboard, ASUS Crosshair VI Hero, and I wanted to at very least update the CPU, this was an easy process ( Backed up everything just in case) Took out old CPU put in New and made a few BIOS adjustments, and Its like a brand new computer, It actually helped the Internet speed bottle neck I was having, I was connecting at 1 gig down and 2 gig up, now I am at 2 gig down and 4,5 gig up, WOW ( I have a 5 Gig speed internet) so very happy!

Is the 7 5700x a good CPU, as good as or better than the 5 5600x
It stays below 60 degrees while gaming on ultra settings with the 9060xt and stays just as cool with the 9070xt. By the way, I use the Pearles Assassin dual-tower cooler. It’s useful for emulating Bloodborne since emulation uses a lot of CPU.

Amazing Deal I would definitely Recommend
This was a huge upgrade for my my i5 CPU was bottlenecking my whole system and I needed something better and with these new CPUI this was an easy choice especially for the price, my FPS went up by about 30-50 fps. Super good deal

Good but expensive
Great processor but the price is not great. It has great speed for gaming and enough cores and threads for an AM4. I have yet to experience any issues, heat levels are completely fine with a thermalright peerless assassin, it immediately booted and was detected on my asus rog strix b550 without any bios update needed. I bought this for $164 if you’re thinking about upgrading your AM4 I wouldn’t get this for less than $130 otherwise just get a ryzen 7 5800x instead.
