No brainer Upgrade for music production
I have a Mac mini late 2018 that I use for music production. During large projects there’s always been some lag or stuttering, but I’ve always made it work through workarounds, etc. I’ve know that the RAM was “upgradeable” but was hesitant due to its delicate nature.I decided to pull the trigger and order the 64GB kit. Honesty, after watching a couple of YouTube videos, the process of upgrading was super straight forward and easy. A little patience was the main requirement.As you can see in the screenshot, the 64 gb of ram were detected upon startup, and I loaded some previous projects that I knew were intensive. Smoooooth!!!! Even at low buffer sizes. Thoroughly satisfied with this purchase.

Great RAM for the Price
This RAM not only gave a boost to my computer but both sticks functioned flawlessly. The previous pair didn’t function as well. Only one of their two RAM sticks provided memory for our computer even after pulling and reinstalling them. Still only one of them worked. These replacements from Adamanta were perfect from the brginning.

Good for gaming
Easy to install yourself. Really adds to your older iMac – an easy way to give older machines a quick refurb. I do most of my own computer repair. I put this ram in my old iMac and gave it to my teenage son and he loves it. He plays games online with this more than his PlayStation.

Installation location is critical
Once I got them install, they did everything they are supposed to.On the iMac there are 4 slots and it is critical they get installed in the correct slots. The instructions really didn’t make this clear,But give Apple wanted $1K to go to 64GB and these are like $260, it was well worth the effort.

Works great so far
This package of 128GB of RAM has been installed in my 2019 27-inch iMac for two weeks, and I have not had any issues with it. It was easy to install myself, and much less expensive than having Apple pre-install their RAM, which maxes out at 64GB I believe. If I encounter any problems with it, I plan to update this post with details.
