Amazing card. Upgraded from a 3050
Very good. Some of the driver updates might be buggy though so be careful when you update them. Games might be blackscreened but just use older drivers in the nvidia app if that happens.

I Works
It works. It took a long while for my Windows 10 to recognize it, but it got there just before I gave up.

Excellent GPU
This was a big step up from my old GeForce GTX 1660 Super. My favorite games run better and faster at a higher video settings – double bonus, the games run faster and also look way better. I have been a big GigaByte fan for years and installed this on a new system build using a GigaByte Motherboard – have never been disappointed with the quality of a GigaByte product. This card is not overly long, so it fit in my system very well.

GPU sits slanted so cable cannot sit flush.
Maybe this only affects the GPU I got, but it sits slightly slanted so the card is higher on the screw side. This makes the clearance between the port and the edge of case cutout thinner than usual. A DP to USB C cable I am using has a larger base and will not plug in fully because of this and the computer cannot connect to the monitor. I have used the same cable with both a nVidia 1070 and a Quadro P2200 without a problem, and these GPUs sit straight. You can see my pictures. The 1070 has a DVI port and you can see the adapter plugs in more flush and the computer is able to connect to the monitor. Maybe Gigabyte is worried about GPU sag so they are purposely making cards slanted higher on the screw side or maybe it is a quality control issue? I do not want to take a chance on a replacement, and I will try a GPU from another brand. I have removed and put the GPU back in a few times and it never sits straight. The pictures also show the screws are placed in correctly so it is not a problem without I put in in.

I recently bought the RTX 5050, and I’m seriously impressed! This is my first-ever graphics card, and the performance has blown me away. Games run super smooth, rendering is fast, and the visuals look stunning. It handles everything from gaming to design work perfectly. Totally worth it — I’m really happy with my purchase!
