Small but mighty – I love this OBD2 ❤️
Nice scanner – actually is my second one -lost the first one ( which I’m expecting to show up anytime now that I’ve replaced it 😉 All the better rather have one in each car. Really good quality -easy to connect – showed up as “OBD2”- not the name they said – was easy. This works with Dr. Prius , also Torque, Torque Pro , another hybrid vehicle app I am using to work on my Pirus C – very happy with it. I very used these on many vehicles and always get better data and more info than almost every single other more expensive unit . This – is a great product small size w small price – but big on function truly 👌 – CAN NOT RECOMMMEND ENOUGH !! You DO want THIS one! – ITS REALLY GOOD not fakery. Others MAY look like it but MANY are not the same inside. Accurate reader that is,what it says .

P0420 – This OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner is a Mechanic in Your Pocket
Saved Me $800+ on a False PositiveI’ve got a 2008 Dodge Caliber that threw a P0420 code with a recently replaced cat (3k miles).Picked up this Bluetooth OBD2 scanner on a whim — paired it with my phone in 10 seconds using Car Scanner ELM. Live data streaming is buttery smooth:Upstream O2: 0.07 → 0.7 V rapid switchingDownstream O2: rock-steady ~0.7 VSTFT: ±1% dead-onThe O2 waveforms proved the cat was working perfectly — downstream wasn’t following upstream at all. Turned out the code was a false positive from the aftermarket cat being slightly under spec — not dead. Cleared the code, drove 50 miles, P0420 never came back againPro tip: Use Car Scanner ELM — you get real-time graphs, freeze frame, and a clean, intuitive dashboard.Bottom line: This $14 tool proved my cat was fine, saved me from an unnecessary repair, and now lives in my glovebox. Every DIYer needs this. 100% worth it.

This one is good. Ford f150, Toyota Prius.
This one works good. I bought this same one 6 years ago but left it in my old car. I purchased a cheaper one last week that would not work with my Ford protocol so I bought this one again and it’s so much better. These blue ones might look the same but they are not the same. You can see minimal Electronics inside some of them but this one is stacked with more of the good stuff that works right..

Works great! But with one rather important caveat.
This Panlong Bluetooth OBD2 works great with my 2002 Subaru Forester and Moto X (1st gen) with Kitkat 4.4.4 and the Torque Pro app. After pairing it with my phone, accepting it as a trusted Bluetooth device, and firing up the Torque Pro app, I was up and running in seconds. Unlike the previous and cheaper OBD2 adapter, this one connected with my phone easily and synced with the car’s ECU very quickly. It also downloaded the fault codes in a matter of seconds. There are LED’s in the bottom of the device that show you (i.e. through the translucent blue shell) that if it has power, and whether is transmitting data or not. It also read all of my car’s running data (accelerator, RPM’s, etc.) without a hitch, after I started the car. Thus it appears to do everything it is billed to do.That said, the only bad thing about this adapter relates to how short it is. On my Subaru, the OBD port is recessed into the bottom dash/console. Thus, after I had tested the adapter, and wanted to pull it out, I literally couldn’t get my fingers around the adapter in order to pull it out, and I could tell from the LEDs that the adapter still had power even after removing the key and locking the car. Thus, I was lucky that I had some needle nose pliers that were the right size with which to grip it and pull it out. I was afraid of cracking the shell of the adapter as I squeezed it in order to get enough grip on it. However, I managed to get it out with the needle-nose pliers, and found that I had only put some minor etched indentations in the plastic shell. Thus, after getting it out, I affixed a loop of packing tape on the adapter so that I would have something akin to a tether rope with which to pull the adapter out with when I am finished collecting data. This tape-tether makes removing the adapter much easier without obscuring the view of the LED’s.

Piece of junk
Ok… a few years ago, I purchased one of these dongles prior to a road trip; I wanted to know things which my car was not sharing. Oil pressure, cylinder head temperature, coolant temperature… as this would be the first long trip taken in this vehicle, I wanted a heads up before there was an issue. The previous version was only for use with andriod products, so I also purchased a Fire tablet and an app called ‘Torque’ which allows for a multitude of dials and gauges and, when attached to my dashboard with Velcro, I had all the real time displays I desired for this first long distance drive. After the trip I removed the tablet from my car and cleaned the sticky stuff from my dashboard, and gave the tablet away to a friend who had use for one.A couple of weeks ago I trouble light appeared on my car’s display, but my iPhone could not communicate with the old dongle, so I purchased this ‘upgraded’ version to read the trouble code. Using the recommended software app, the device would continually disconnect from my iPhone, so I tried a few other OBD2 apps, and was always disappointed with one thing or another in the functionality of this device.I recommend purchasing something of a higher quality, which I shall be doing after the return and refund are processed.I guess this would be just another case of getting what you pay for, in and of the low cost; however, this time I received less than I paid for, and a whole lot of wasted time, and frustration, for which I shall never be compensated.I will be purchasing a real handheld unit, rather than one which uses an app to WIFI or Bluetooth to communicate. If ever again I want more gauges displayed, I will put out more money to get one which will actually function well.In short, if you like wasting money, go ahead.

Great product, Easy to use, Fast Delivery, A+
Seems to work and do the job. Easy to use and connect via Bluetooth. I am not very electronic savvy and it was simple. Would recommend. Thank you.

Purchased this to diagnose some codes on my Subaru Forester. Used it with the Torque Pro app, definitely gives me peace of mind in knowing I can see codes if my dashboard ever lights up again. Allowed me to fix the small things myself which is a great money saver.I always leave this in my glove box.

Works out of the box with MG ZS EV 2024 model, using the Car Scanner Android app. I was able to clear some error codes as well. The data displayed is accurate.
