Nice set, saves the dough re mi for the household. Easy to wire up with the new style at the potential sacrifice of long term reliability (plastic gets brittle with age, mores than metal). Decent price versus the local big box home improvement places. Leviton quality.

These switches are super easy and fast to install. Good value for the money. Function as expected and they seem durable.

Makes installation fast and easy
These lines of outlets and switches are so much easier to wire than switches and outlets requiring loops. Remember that these are light duty residential hardware, they are lightweight and cheaply made. A great feature is a larger than normal flange which helps with sunken electrical boxes. Electrical stuff does not use normal Philips or flathead screws, but a strange combination of a Philips and a square drive. I mainly used a S1 bit, but noticed that it didn’t fit well, even though S1 bits fit older hardware very well. I discovered that the best fitting bit is a Bosch P2R2 bit, which is a combination of a Philips #2 and a Robertson R1 bit. Robertson and Square are related but not the same. And for some strange reason they use R2 instead of R1 in the name. A R2 bit does not fit but a R1 does fit. If you want a more rugged and better built outlet try the Levition Heavy Duty line, but they are twice as expensive. They are very weighty and solid compared to the Lever line. They do not require a wire loop on the white or black side, you slide a straight bare wire under a square washer and cinch down the screw. The ground lug requires a wire loop.

Super easy to install
These new lever action wire clamps are super easy to use. The one problem is that only have ONE place to connect a wire to. Frequently, you need to pass the hot thru to another place. More wire nuts and jump wires!

Very quiet, doesn’t come with new face plates, love the install method.
I had purchased a different brand but found they were very loud, like, loud! These are much quieter. I love the easy install too, no more fighting to wrap the wire around the terminals. One note is these do NOT come with new faceplates. I took the extra piece off the top and bottom so that my plate covers would fit. Much easier to do before you install it btw…..

The mechanism for the wire connection is good. Super easy to use. I find the switch itself kind of “soft”, especially going to the “on” position.
